This course has been prepared for the, legal practitioners, researchers, lecturers as well as students of criminal law. It explores the historical development and introduction of criminal in Uganda. Similarly, it reconnoiters foundation of criminal liability in Uganda. Therefore, a selection of topics traditionally covered at the undergraduate course, which underscores the basic elements of the crimes as well as criminal defenses have been discussed
